Notably, autonomous vehicles was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of esports and social, according to GlobalData.
Of the top leading companies in the automotive industry, Li Auto had the greatest increase in references for autonomous vehicles in Q2 2023, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 66 autonomous vehicles-related sentences in the company's filings - 2% of all sentences - and an increase of 2% in Q2 2023 compared with Q2 2022. Tata Motors’s mentions of autonomous vehicles rose by 200% to 48 and General Motors’s by 10% to 43 and Aptiv’s by 13% to 17.
